Welcome to the LGBTQ+ Teen + Parent Bundle.
 
This bundle was created for the two people who are doing this work from different sides of the same wound.
 
One of you was told something was wrong with you.
 
One of you is trying to figure out what your role in that was, how to make sure it never happens, or what to do now that you know better.
 
These two workbooks do not require you to be in the same place at the same time, to have the same conversation, or to be further along than you are.
 
They require only that both of you are willing to do the work.
 
"You Were Never the Problem" is for the queer teen in your family who has experienced conversion practices.
 
It offers honest clinical information about what these practices are and why every major medical organization has condemned them, journal prompts for processing what happened, and a consistent reminder that what was done was not a reflection of who they are.
 
"You Can Still Get This Right" is for the parent who is doing the harder, slower work of repair.
 
It offers clinical grounding, reflection prompts, scripts for the difficult conversations with spouses and family members who may not agree, and a framework for what repair actually looks like over time.
 
You do not both have to start at the same time.
 
You do not have to share your pages with each other.
 
You do not have to have this figured out before you begin.
 
Healing inside a family does not happen all at once.
 
It happens when both people are willing to show up for themselves first, and for each other when the time is right.
