💜 Healing Isn’t Linear💜
Recovery Looks Different for Everyone

Recovery isn’t just for one kind of person. It’s not just about addiction. It’s not just about abstinence. And it’s definitely not about perfection.
Recovery is any intentional process of healing. It might mean breaking free from patterns that harmed you. It might mean managing mental illness. It might mean surviving grief, burnout, trauma, or something no one else saw but you lived through.
So, this month, let’s talk about Recovery in real terms—the messy, hopeful, hard-earned kind.
💬 Recovery Doesn’t Always Look Like “Success”
It looks like:
Falling down and choosing to get back up (again)
Saying no even when your whole body wants to say yes
Resting instead of pushing through
Asking for help without shame
Being honest with yourself—especially when it’s hard
You don’t have to prove your healing to anyone. You don’t owe your Recovery to anyone but yourself.
🌱 Your Path Is Valid, Even If It’s Not Perfect
Let’s be real: relapse happens. Emotional spirals happen. You’re not starting over—you’re still on the path.
Whether your journey includes:
Therapy
Medication
12-step support
Harm reduction
Community-based Recovery
Or just trying your best day by day…
You are allowed to heal in your own way, at your own pace.
✍️ Try the Rooted in Healing Reflection Workbook
This month, I created something different. A space to check in, gently.
In this workbook, you’ll find:
Grounding exercises for when the spiral starts
Questions to reconnect to your “why”
Reflection on resilience and grief
A space to map out your support system
Permission to honor progress—not perfection
Because healing isn’t about doing it right, it’s about staying rooted in who you’re becoming.

💛 A Final Word
You are not your past. You are not your relapse. You are not the worst thing that has ever happened to you.
You are here. And that means healing is still possible.
Stay rooted. You’re growing—even when it feels hard.
