Here are 5 gentle ways to honor National Relaxation Day:

  • Take a screen break. Ten minutes counts.

  • Journal about what rest actually feels like to you.

  • Create a “Not Today” list—yes, what you’re not doing matters.

  • Try progressive muscle relaxation or a slow breathwork session.

  • Give yourself permission to be unproductive on purpose.
